FAQs

How are your prices so much lower than other photographers’?

We believe there should be an option for people who want memories of their wedding day captured professionally, but who have a smaller budget. Our network of photographers are either in the early stages of their career, or currently studying for their photography degree at University, which means they cost less than other photographers.

How do we know your photographers will do a good job? I could just let my Uncle Dave with the camera do our photos!

We’ve rigorously interviewed our photographers to make sure they have the people skills needed to capture your big day successfully. We’ve also reviewed their photography portfolios to make sure their work meets the highest standards, meaning you get quality pictures at a more realistic price. Cheap photography doesn’t mean bad photography – just look at the images on this website! All our photographers are also covered by our public liability insurance, giving you peace of mind. Having someone dedicated to capturing the story of your day goes above and beyond the photos a guest can capture. Check out our customer testimonials to see how happy our customers are – click here

Why do some photographers cost more than others?

Some of our photographers have more weddings under their belts. They have a proven track record of delivering great photos and amazing customer service! They won’t be hanging around at this price for long – most photographers of this standard cost at least £600, but luckily they still want to build their portfolios that little bit more. It’s a great opportunity for you to grab a bargain. The less expensive photographers are at an earlier stage of their careers, but have gone through our interview process and successfully joined our network, so you can be confident they’ll do a great job for you.

Do we get to meet our photographer before the wedding?

This depends on how far away your photographer is from you. If they’re nearby, then they would be happy to contact you once you’ve booked to arrange a relaxed meeting. This could be at the venue, at your house, at a cafe…whatever suits you. Some clients who are short of time or further away just speak to their photographer on the phone before the wedding, which always works fine too.

When do I pay?

We ask for a £100 deposit to secure your date. You can pay this online, or we can email you with our bank details to transfer this, and send you a receipt once we have it. Paypal checkouts are currently in the process of being added to our website, but in the meantime you can send deposits to our paypal ID wildflowerweddingphotographyuk@gmail.com .

We then ask for the remaining balance to be paid after your wedding, once we have sent you a preview of your photos.
